Jacob Elordi's new film Saltburn is a tragic story of obsession, lust and pretty much all 7 deadly sins. Spoiler alert this is a film analysis for those who are still shocked by the films climax and ending. The story takes place in the early 2000s, Oliver Quick, a scholarship student at Oxford University, struggles to fit into the upper-class social circles. His life takes a dramatic turn when he befriends Felix Catton, an affluent and popular student. The film explores the obsessive friendship between the two, leading Oliver down a perilous path of addiction and deception during a fateful summer at Felix’s family estate, Saltburn.
